Quiche

 

What is needed:

Electric mixer or hand mixer

Measuring cup for liquids

Measuring spoon

 

Ingredients:

1 cup heavy cream

6 eggs

dash salt

dash pepper

1/3 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon parsley

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

One uncooked, 9 inch Pie Crust

 

Pre-heat oven to 365 degrees. Put all ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix on medium until all ingredients are blended well. Pour egg mixture into prepared pie crust. Place quiche in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until quiche is set. Test by inserting a butter knife into the center of the quiche. The butter knife should come out clean.

 

Serving suggestions:

Serve for breakfast with bacon, sausage, and juice.

 

Serve as an elegant lunch with a tossed salad.

 

Serve as a main course for dinner with a tossed salad, rolls, and butter.

 

Helpful hints:

This recipe is very versatile. Sprinkle cheddar cheese in the bottom of your pie crust before adding egg mixture for an egg and cheese quiche.

 

Add thawed and drained brocolli florettes to egg mixture for a hearty, vegetable quiche.

 

Add cooked and crumbled bacon or cooked bulk sausage to egg mixture for a breakfast or dinner quiche.

 

Add your own special ingredient to create a delicious quiche.
