Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives                                                                                                                                                      Home
 
What is needed:
Small paring knife or butter knife
 
Ingredients:
1 jar large or colossus pitted, pimento stuffed green olives
8 oz. of blue cheese
 
Pour off brine from olives.  Using a toothpick, remove pimento from stuffed olives.  Stuff blue cheese into each olive using the tip of a small paring knife.  Store blue cheese stuffed olives in the olive jar or plastic storage container with a lid.  Can be stored up to 2 months in the refrigerator.
 
Serving ideas:
 
Serve with a cheese and cracker plate.
 
Put in bloody mary cocktail drinks or martinis.
 
Serve along side lunch or dinner as a special relish.
 
Helpful hints:
 
You can find blue cheese stuffed olives in the grocery store in the deli section or relish aisle in a jar.  These are packed in oil and are not the classic style and not as tastey as our recipe.  Try both and decide for yourself...we think you will like ours better!
