| Recipe Box < Appetizers Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives What is needed:
Small spreading knife or butter knife Ingredients:
1 jar large or colossus pitted, pimento stuffed green olives
8 oz. of blue cheese Remove pimento from stuffed olives. Pour out brine from olive jar. Stuff blue cheese into each olive with a knife. Store blue cheese stuffed olives in olive jar or plastic storage container with a lid. Can be stored up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Serving ideas:
Serve with a cheese, cracker and fruit plate.
Add to a Bloody Mary cocktail or martini. Serve as a relish with lunch or dinner. Helpful hints:
You can find blue cheese stuffed olives in the grocery store in the deli section or relish aisle in a jar. These are packed in oil and are not the classic style and not as tastey as our recipe. Try both and decide for yourself...we think you will like ours better!
